Sometime back in June of 2022, we received a card in the mail from Stephen Kaufman Real Estate advertising if we were interested in selling our home to please call them for a ‘free estimate’.  At that time my husband and I were thinking about selling our home and my brother and I were also going to sell my mom’s house which was right next door.  We wanted to sell the houses as ‘a package deal’ where both houses were to be sold at the same time, closing at the same time, etc.  I was a bit hesitant but called the office and spoke with Gheri Christon-Kaufman who explained how the process would go and we set a date for meeting. 

My family and I cannot thank Gheri enough.  From day one until closing a lot of effort was put in by her in showing the houses, dealing with all the prospective buyers (and there were many), signing of contracts, etc., etc.  Working with Stephen Kaufman Real Estate was a great experience.  Gheri and the Stephen Kaufman Real Estate Team walked us through the entire process which made it easy because we had never sold a house before.  We learned a lot.  While all this was going on, Gheri helped me find another place to live and I am very happy there.  It is not easy to sell two houses at the same time but all in all it worked out in spite of many obstacles which occurred during this time.

When closing day came, we were all very nervous but Gheri and the Stephen Kaufman Real Estate Team were on hand just in case we needed their guidance, etc. And until the very end stood by us.
