NYS ASSEMBLY & CITY COUNCIL - Stephen served in the NYS Assembly and NYC Council for over 25 years. He led the fight to improve quality of life by combating graffiti & vandalism, improving transportation, and better housing. He sponsored and authorized major legislation against illegal dumping, increasing fire/police protection, additional funding for public education as well as assisting homeowners.

COMPETITIVE

CIVIC ACCOMPLISHMENTS: He fought for funding for SUNY Maritime and Bronx parks. Stephen prevented overcrowding in the Throggs Neck area by getting city government approval for down zoning. He serves as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation. He was the former president of the Throggs Neck Merchants Association and now serves as attorney to the Throggs Neck Bid and is on the advisory board for Orange Bank.
